    Yes, our cubes come fully assembled and are ready to fill and organize as soon as you open the box!

    Yes! We take a great pride in what we create here at ScrapNcube and it is our commitment to you, the customer, that if there is any breakdown in the quality of our product over your lifetime, that we will replace it for FREE!

  3. How are your products delivered and what is the general turnaround time of delivery once an order has been placed?

    Depending on the size of your order, we ship UPS Ground for orders weighing less than 400-500 pounds.  For larger orders of most Studio Stations and large table and cube orders, those ship LTL Freight and, a personalized shipping quote will need to be obtained as its much cheaper to ship by freight.  You can place your Studio or, large order online, and we will adjust the shipping once the order is received or, you can call us and, we will be happy to work up a cheaper freight quote for you.

    Turn-around time for your order varies according to the size of your order and, the time of year your order is placed.  In the Fall and Winter, our time frame is generally 3-6 weeks and, can go up to 8 weeks, depending on demand. In the Spring and Summer months, a general time frame is 2-4 weeks from the time your order is placed to when it leaves our facility.   For a more accurate time frame, please give us a call and, we can give you a more definitive time.

    If you are purchasing a gift and need your order by a specified time, please be sure and let us know and, we'll always do our very best to accommodate your time requests if at all possible.

    Please keep in mind that if we are assisting you with a room design, the time frame does not take into account the 'design time' as that varies according to each individual's personal design and customization needs.

  4. What kind of files do we purchase to hold our 12x12 pattern papers in if we're using your hanging file drawers and/or hanging file tables?

    These files are now available for purchase on our website or you can purchase them from most office supply stores; just note that because they are not a commonly used file, they will more than likely have to be special ordered in for you.

    • How many boxes of the 3" box-bottom legal hanging file folders will I need to purchase?

      This really depends on the amount of 12x12 printed/pattern paper that you have. A general rule of thumb is for every 10-12" of stacked paper (in other words, if you were to stack all of your pattern and printed papers, not your cardstock), on a table top and you had 10-12" of papers, I would purchase one box of 3" box-bottom hanging file folders. Note: This is just an estimate.

    • Do you have examples of room displays that are ready to purchase as is?

      Yes. Check out our Studio Stations! These are customized Studio Stations that have been custom designed by scrapbookers, stampers and crafters to meet all the storage and organizational needs you may have. We can also further customize any of the Studio Stations that we feature, so be sure and ask us any questions you have and we'll work with you one on one to customize a Studio Station to meet your organizational and storage needs!

    • Are your tables difficult to assemble?

      No, not at all. You'll receive two pieces -- (1) Laminate top; and, (2) Legs. We pre-assemble all of our product(s); in other words, we install all of the hardware so that all you have to do is simply attach and/or snap the pieces together and secure with a Phillips screwdriver. The side legs fold into the back leg section. Once taken out of the wooden crate that they are shipped in, you lay the laminate-top bottom side up, pull the side legs from the back and snap them into laminate's underside and simply screw in. That's it! Turn it over and start using it.

    • Do you have a drawer that will hold my 12x12 pattern papers?

      Yes! Our QB6-PD (paper drawer) not only holds over 100 sheets of cardstock, but it protects your precious papers from sunlight, dust and florescent light damage! They're also available in the BB6-PD (paper drawer) for 8-1/2x11 papers. Please note that our Supply Drawers will not hold your 12x12 or 8-1/2x11 papers.

    • How does the Paper Drawer differ from your Supply Drawer?

      Our Paper Drawer is very unique! It only has a front face and a bottom -- no sides or back. When pushed into a cubit, it resembles a regular drawer. However, when you are ready to use it, you simply pull it out and either lay it on your table top, or you can push it back into the cubit (knob side in) so that the paper is now facing you like an open shelf. When you are done, simply pull it out and push it back into the cubit like a regular drawer. The benefits are huge! Save your papers from fading due to florescent lighting, sunlight and dust when not in use. And, have your papers at your fingertips when you are ready to work!

    • I noticed that you have a Project Drawer. What do you use that for?

      We mount ours directly under our Tables to hold our projects-in-process that we want to "tuck away" while working on other projects. They're deep enough for us to hold not only our project, but all the embellishments and tools that are associated with that project as well. WE LOVE IT! Please note that all of our accessory items such as the Project Drawer and Hanging File Drawers can be adhered to any wooden table and/or desk.

    • I'm a stamper and have tons of stamps. Do you offer cube storage for stamps?

      Yes! Our QB6D (drawer for QB6) is the perfect drawer for all of your wooden stamps and acrylic stamps. We also now have a drawer custom made for the CTMH (Close-To-My-Heart) acrylic stamp sets -- it's called the CTMH Cube. You should check it out!

      Our Cubes and Accessories are all made from the finest Baltic Birch hardwood available, which comes from Russia. They are extremely sturdy! They are made to last and look great too! And, as they come to you unfinished, you can personalize them to fit your own personal style!

    • Can you stain or paint the cubes?

      Yes! You can seal your cubes, drawers, tables and accessories with a Minwax Polyurethane or Stain. We do recommend that you use a Minwax wood conditioner prior as it creates a nicer finish. You can also paint them as well for a truly fun and artistic flair.

    • Do I have to put a seal/stain on the cubes?

      No. In fact, most of our customers, including many of us, use ours unfinished. The wood is beautifully hand sanded with rounded and mitered corners -- it creates a very nice clean look. Remember, you can always paint or stain them years from now should you want a new look.

    • Can you mix and match the cubes?

      Yes! It's simple math--a QB3 Drawer can fit into a QB6 Cube by removing one of the QB6 shelves. Same principal applies to a QB2 Drawer which can fit into a QB4 Cube by simply removing one shelf from the QB4. This "mix & match" allows you to have two different size drawers in one Cube!
      NOTE: We will pre-assemble them with different drawers if you order them this way and send you the extra shelves as well.

    • How do I organize my stacks of printed and textured papers in a way that allows me to "see" my prints/textures?

      Our Hanging File Drawer is ideal when attached to your desk/table because when you pull it out, the files are facing you! Here's what we do: We use "legal size - box bottom" file folders and take our printed papers and organize them according to floral prints, plaids, vellums, mesh, etc., and stagger them in the file. We can usually get anywhere from 6 - 8 different prints per file, depending, of course, on the size of the print in the paper. You want to allow enough of a particular print to show up so that as you're flipping through the files you can easily see them at a glance.

    • Can the cubes be mounted to a wall?

      We recommend mounting a shelf to the wall, and then sitting the Cubes on top of the shelving.

    • What is your return policy?

      We will accept returns on all of our product(s) if you are not completely satisfied with the exception of our laminated table tops. Due to the customization of the laminated table tops, we are unable to accept returns on any of our tables.

      If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 10 days from the date you receive it. You pay the return shipping plus a 15% re-stocking fee. As long as the merchandise being returned arrives in the same condition as when it was shipped to you, we will refund your money and/or give you an exchange. You will still be responsible for the original shipping charges. Please note that should the item(s) being returned arrive damaged in any way, we will not be able to refund and/or offer you an exchange. If you would like information on how to avoid damage during shipment, please give us a call and we will instruct you on how to return your product(s).

      We primarily ship in the continental United States and Canada; however, we're certainly willing to work with anyone who wishes to purchase our product.  For more detailed information on shipping internationally, please give us a call at 1.800.216.4992.
